Stable isotopes in natural gases are the key to recognizing the origin of gases and their relationships to geological conditions of their formation.
We were and continue to be instrumental in developing techniques for the quantitative assessment of gas formation in petroleum systems based on laboratory isotope calibrations. As such, we have deep understanding in the use and application of the GOR software (GeoIsoChem Corp.) for these applications.
We use specially designed basin modeling software for CO2 formation and sequestration. We are the only service company that offers in a collaboration with partners a technology for CO2 risk assessment and CO2 storage prediction.
We are leaders in developing the application of gas stable isotopes for compartment definition and have new analytical tools for the interpretation of mudgas isotope data for compartment prediction prior to well completion. In field development we have techniques that use mudgas isotope data to define communicating producing sands and identify communication barriers.
We have developed and own technology for production allocation of gases from commingled tight gas production and can allocate production to 12 input streams (frac zones.)
